What do you do at Brooklife?
Our family has been a part of Brooklife Church since the Launch Team started to meet about 4.5 yrs ago. In the early days, we all pitched in to help with whatever was needed. I currently am a Housegroup Leader with my wife, Linda; play guitar for the Worship Team; and am leading the building operations team for community outreach usage.
What is your favorite thing about Brooklife?
Brooklife has so much to offer families. I feel fortunate that our girls have been able to do the wide variety of activities either during Sunday services or the fun extra opportunities during the school year and summers. We love our Housegroup and it has grown to be so close that I know that I can count on them for anything. Some of our Housegroup families have been together since the Launch Team.
Family?
We have 2 girls – Annakate and Kayleigh. Linda and I have been married since 1993 and have lived in Mukwonago since 1999. We met while in high school (in Illinois), but didn’t really start dating until I was in college.
What do you do for fun?
I grew up in the outdoors as I was active in scouting, and because of this, I love to be doing things that are related to hiking, fishing, and exploring. My passion is BBQ’ing. Not the grilling thing, but down South BBQ’ing. We spend as much time together as a family, often supporting the activities the girls are in. Linda and I like to garden and cook. I always have music on around me.
What do you do for a living?
I have degrees in Engineering and Business. I like to say that I “fix” companies and help them get “healthy”. I have been fortunate to work for some of the biggest and most innovative companies, and to have my own consulting group for a stint. I am always thinking of ways to do things better.
