Volunteer Opportunities
- Feeding and cleaning birds in the aviary, once a week for two hours
- Water indoor plants, once a week for one hour
- Spring flower planting in May
- Play bingo with the residents on a Saturday (groups of 2 or more needed)
- Become a regular, friendly visitor
- Lead a Bible Study
- Share a newspaper or magazine with a resident
- Nurture our beautiful plants
- Donate Resources
- Assist with activities such as baking, birthday parties, cooking, bingo, crafts or religious services
- Assist with outings or special events

Water therapy - Assist residents with dressing, getting in and out of pool, female required. Tue 10:30-11:30am or Fri 2:00-3:00pm

Coat-for-Coat - A wam coat is not a luxury or a discretionary item -- a warm winter coat can mean a safer, healthier and more focused child. Brooklife Church has partnered with SonGear (www.songear.com) to bring new coats to children in Southeast Wisconsin. For every coat bought at www.songear.com a free coat is sent to a church partner to distribute.

Drivers Needed - There is an urgent need for volunteers in the Mukwonago area to deliver meals to the homebound. Help once a week or twice a month, Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday from 11:15am – 1pm. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Contact Chris Rodriguez at 262-548-7829.

URGENT NEED - New and gently used towels and wash cloths are needed for the Emergency Lodge and Homeless Hygiene programs. Donations may be dropped off at our main office Monday-Friday 8:00am-noon, 1:00-4:00pm or seven days a week at the shelter intake desk after 5:00pm, both located at 445 Madison St, Waukesha.
