Upcoming Events

The Cross - Join us we take a four week look at the cross.  What difference does the cross make in our daily lives and how can we tap into it's power?  This weeks sermon, The Cross: Why I Still Need It.

Daylight Savings Time This Sunday – Don’t forget to wake up an hour early next Sunday. Set your clocks ahead an hour the night before. We’ll see you all bright and early on Sunday morning.

Good Friday Service - We will be joining with Westbrook Church for a Good Friday service, April 2 at 7pm at Westbrook. Westbrook is located at 1100 State Road 83 in Hartland, just north of I-94. Limited childcare will be available.

Do You Like To Bike? - A biking group will be forming in the spring. Rides are open to bikers at any level and families are welcome. We encourage you to invite friends! For more information or to get involved contact Steve Hatch by email or at 262-385-6483.

Night of Worship and Prayer – Join us this Wendesday for a night of worship and prayer at 6:30pm at Phantom Ranch to culminate our 3-week focus on prayer. Jason and our worship team will lead us in a powerful time as we meet with God.  There is also a special Kid's Night of Worship and Prayer at the same time.

Outreach

Books for Inmates – We will be collecting paperback books for inmates at the Waukesha County Jail on March 21 and 28. New and gently used paperback books are welcome along with bibles, puzzle books, Spanish books, and jigsaw puzzles.

John ‘Mitch’ Mitcheltree Benefit - Mitch, a member of Brooklife, has been in a ‘semi-coma’ since a fall on November 23rd. Join us on Sunday, March 21, for a benefit to defray his medical costs. More info at: http://tinyurl.com/fbmitch.

Help the Disabled in Haiti - Greater Milwaukee area churches will be collecting canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs and artificial limbs for Haiti. Deliver donated items to the Elmbrook Church Gym on March 13. Questions? Contact Joline McCord at 414-510-0045 or by email.

Craft Fair at the Mukwonago Food Pantry - Friday, March 19 from 4-9pm, Saturday and Sunday March 20-21 from 9am-4pm.

Deliver Meals to Homebound Seniors - There is an urgent need for drivers to deliver meals to homebound seniors in the Mukwonago area. Individuals, friends, or couples can apply and will receive training and mileage reimbursement. Call Chris Rodriquez at 262-548-7829 for more information.

Women

Stitches of Love - We will meet at Debbie Baumgart’s home at 411 Pleasant St. in Mukwonago on Thursday March 18th from 6pm to 9pm. All those interested in sewing, knitting, or crocheting are welcome. We even love beginners! Come and go when necessary. We also have a daytime group meeting March 19th at Anita Rozendaal's from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For more information call 262-684-4330.

Kids

Child Dedication Service - will be May 2.  If you would like to dedicate your child, there is a one-time required class that will be held on April 18 during the 9 a.m. service in the Club 56 classroom. Contact Julie for more information at jscheibe@brooklife.org or 262-378-4470 ext. 222.

SHOUT - meets this week, Monday, March 15th from 5-6:30pm at the Runkle’s House. If you have any questions please contact Adam Bradley at abradley82@gmail.com or Anne Runkle 262-378-4608. Shout is a puppetry ministry and is open to all students in 5, 6 & 7th grade.

Students

DASH - We will meet Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00pm at Phantom Ranch Bible Camp. Dash is the middle school ministry of Brooklife Church and is open to all 7-8th grade students and their friends.  Questions? Contact Mark Lynch.

Dash Ice Skating & Bonfire Night - On Saturday, March 20 we will depart from the Stanzer’s house at 3:00pm to skate at the Petit Ice Center and return to Stanzer’s house for a bonfire and activities. Price is $10. Signup forms are at the information table on Sunday. Contact Mark with any questions.

STATUS - Join us from 7:00 to 8:30pm on Sunday at Phantom Ranch Bible Camp.  Status is the high school ministry of Brooklife Church and is available to all high school students.  Questions?  Contact Mark Lynch.

Status Mexico 2010 BETHECHANGE - Applications are due to the church office by March 22. If you have questions contact Mark Lynch.

Status Laser Tag Night - Saturday night March 27. We will meet at the Kutchenreuter’s house at 7:00pm to go to LaserTag Adventures in Waukesha and to Culvers afterwards. Price is $20 which includes 3 games of LaserTag. Got questions? Contact Mark Lynch.
