Giving
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
At Brooklife we view the giving of our resources as an act of worship to God for our regular attenders (if you are new, we don’t expect you to give). Our ministries and initiatives depend upon your generous contributions. Thank you for helping extend God’s kingdom through your giving.
Giving at Brooklife falls into two categories:
General fund
This is the heart of Brooklife Church’s ministry. This area of giving provides funding for the programs and people necessary to reach out and connect with our children, youth, adults, and house groups. With vibrant giving to the general fund everything else in the church grows. Additionally, the general fund provides the money needed to fund staff, facilities, operations and ongoing capital needs.
imagine fund
imagine is a vital part of Brooklife’s adventure of following God’s dreams for our church in Mukwonago. The imagine fund is designated for expenses related to the purchase of land and eventual building of a multi-purpose facility. Whether you have already pledged to the imagine fund or not, you can always begin giving toward this exciting adventure.
How to give
1. Please make checks payable to “Brooklife Church.”
2. If giving with cash, please make sure you use a Brooklife Church offering envelope so that you receive a tax deduction for your gift and in order to designate your gift toward our general operations fund or the imagine campaign fund.
3. If giving by check, please also write on the memo line of your check the amount for each fund.
(Example: Memo: xx general/ xx imagine )
4. We encourage people to give through direct deposit. To set this up please pick up a form with directions at the information table or contact Jennifer Conklin, our office administrator.
5. If you are interested in giving a stock gift or any other type of gift, please contact Matt Erickson, our Associate Pastor.
