We start a brand new Christmas series called Christmas Unwrapped where we explore why it was necessary for Jesus to become a baby.

Small Group Questions

  • What’s your favorite part of the Christmas Season? Why? When you think about it, what’s the craziest part of Christmas for you? What’s the part of the Christmas story that you think is hardest for people to truly believe?
  • Why do you believe God had Jesus be born as a baby and live on this earth for thirty-three years? Please read Hebrews 4:12-16. How does it feel to know God can see that deep into you?
  • Share what you know about how the High Priest of Jewish system works. What would be some qualifications for a High Priest? How does Jesus being the Great High Priest eclipse those qualifications? From Hebrews 4:15, why was it important that God became man? How does that change everything?
  • Knowing that God knows you completely and can completely feel your pain, how honoring is it that Jesus willingly died in your place? Why? Since Jesus made everything right for all who put their faith in Him, how should that shape the rest of our lives? What would be an improper response to that gift? How can you honor that gift with you life?
