Samaritan's Purse
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. They respond quickly when natural disasters strike, deploying an army of volunteers to come alongside homeowners to bring relief and compassion in Jesus’ Name. Brooklife will send a team on an as needed basis. Trips are typically one week and are structured so that people of all skill levels can participate. Brooklife also collects shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Their mission is to provide children around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
