Studentlife

A Place for Every Student

Studentlife's goal is to help students ground their identity in Jesus and be a place where every student is known, respected and has a chance to grow in their faith.

What To Expect

Students are at a vulnerable age and visiting Studentlife for the first time might be a little scary. You can let them know what to expect!

We believe that every night we gather should be ridiculously fun! We strategically design interactive stage games which give students the opportunity to participate and enjoy some excitement with their friends. Every week, we have amazing live worship and a great message from one of our pastors or leaders.

We also believe that every student needs a trustworthy, consistent volunteer to invest in their life.  So after every lesson, students move into breakouts with a group of their peers and a Studentlife leader, where they will dig deeper and explore their questions.

6th-12th graders meet on Sundays from 6:00-8:00pm.

Students can arrive 15 minutes prior to our start time to hang out with friends. They should enter through The Landing doors which are located on the right side of the building all the way in the back (look for the blue awning). A Leader will be there to check them in and help them feel welcome. We have a Snack Shack with soda, candy and slush puppies for nominal prices.

Throughout the year, we host events that allow for even more fun and an opportunity to develop deeper relationships. We also participate in various serving opportunities throughout the year. Every fall and winter, we attend retreats (off-site but local) that are the perfect chance to connect with other students and leaders, play some great games, and grow in faith! Retreats carry an additional cost, but scholarships are available if needed. Some events require a Health & Liability Form that should be completed each September.

We are so excited to provide opportunities for students to go on life-changing mission trips each summer!  Mission trips are an opportunity used by God to develop students and allow them to serve others. Students who have attended mission trips have said they grew closer to God and the people in their youth group and want to attend the next trip! Parents have seen their kids come home excited, positively impacted by their service experience, and committed to continuing their spiritual journey with Jesus. Mission trips present several ways to develop the following life skills:

  • Leadership
  • Teamwork
  • Problem Solving
  • Confidence
  • Compassion
  • Spiritual Growth

July 5-13, 2024, we are headed to Guatemala for our summer mission trip. We will be partnering with Casas Por Cristo to build two homes in the San Raymundo area. We will work with a trained team as well as the families who will live in the homes we build. The trip is now full.
