We’re all guilty of it- thinking that the latest self-help fad or the “too good to be true” shortcut to the top is really going to work. So why do we continually fall for the gimmicks and tricks that make big promises but at the end of the day leave us feeling more empty than ever before? The apostle Paul said that without the power of the resurrection of Jesus in our lives, we are nothing but fools. But could it really be as simple as trusting our lives to someone who died and then three days later came back to life? Maybe there is more to the resurrection of Jesus than we know… maybe it’s the real treasure we all are really looking for.
