Events

Last year, Brooklife came together to raise money so Bridge Builders could purchase a rundown home in Milwaukee to be converted into a "Lighthouse" for that neighborhood, a safe haven where a missionary will support neighbors practically and spiritually. We have been working on renovating the home and are now ready for your help! 

Join us on Saturday, May 18 from 8:15am-2:00pm. Come all day, or come for a while. Either are fine!

Projects will include (experienced people will assist on all projects):

• Fence install
• Landscaping and yard work
• Washing/cleaning siding and windows
• Painting
• Install carpet or LVP flooring
• Miscellaneous projects

Meet at Bridge Builders Hub House at 4621 N 40th Street Milwaukee, WI. The lighthouse is on that same block. There are no parking lots available, but there is ample street parking.

Lunch will be provided, or you can bring your own.

Families with kids are welcome but depending on age, the construction projects at the lighthouse might not be the best fit. This event in conjunction with a Bridge Builders Serve Day, and there will be neighborhood clean-up happening.
