Student Center

Where Every Student Matters

We want every student to know they matter and to understand they were created for a purpose.

Relationships are a key part of life. Show us your friends, and we will show you your future. We want to help students learn how to build healthy relationships with others that will not only positively impact their life now but will help them build positive relationships for the rest of their lives.

Our students are our future. We want our students to know they are a valuable part of our community. We want to resource and enable our students to contribute their knowledge and skills now, not just when they are older.

Students can come after school to hang out with friends, relax, grab some food (for a nominal charge), and even study in a fun, safe and supervised environment. There will be gaming systems, art supplies, sports equipment, games, puzzles, and more that the students can check out while at BSC.

Brooklife Student Center will open on Monday, April 3! We invite students and parents to an Open House on Thursday, April 6 from 2:30-6:00 pm. Come check us out!

Students can come after school to hang out with friends, relax, grab some food (for a nominal charge), and even study in a fun, safe and supervised environment. There will be gaming systems, art supplies, sports equipment, games, puzzles, and MUCH MORE that the students can check out while at BSC.

As the program develops, students will be able to sign up for a variety of interest classes, assistance with resumés and applications, tutoring, and life skills training.

*Brooklife Church is a Christian organization, however, we want to assure you that we will not be pushing religion on the students.

Buses will be available to transport middle and high school students from school to BSC. Parents must alert Dousman Transport to add students to the bus route:  262.363.7176 ext.70222 or kkyne@dtcbus.com.

Students would take Bus 35 from PVMS or MHS. If too many students from PVMS are on Bus 35, they can take any PVMS bus to MHS and then switch to Bus 35. Bus 35 will be parked along the sidewalk by door 36 at MHS.

BSC will be staffed by trained and vetted volunteers. If you have any questions, please contact Lindsey.

The BSC is a ministry of Brooklife Church. We want to assure you that we will not be pushing religion on the students.

For the first year, the lease and startup costs have been covered by individuals. Our goal is for the ministry to support itself through grants and donations.

Parents will need to pre-register their student(s) HERE before attending the first time. BSC staff will not monitor their coming and going, but students must check in and out, and when they do, the system will alert parent(s). Parents are responsible for their students being picked up by 6:00 pm.

All staff and volunteers at the Student Center will be vetted, receive training, and background checked. Each day, the Student Center will be staffed by at least four staff/volunteers.

In an effort to ensure all students, staff and volunteers are safe, we ask that parents and students read and understand the BSC Policies and Procedures and agree to follow them.

Do you have a talent, job, or passion that you would like to share with the students (now or as part of our future offerings)? Do you have spare time and love to be around students? If so, complete the volunteer form, and we will connect with you!

All volunteers at the Student Center will be vetted, receive training, and background checked.

We would love to entertain the possibility of purchasing the building, but it is not currently for sale. It is owned by the Great Lakes Region of The Wesleyan Church.
