Where Every Student Matters

Matters to God Every student is loved by God. We want students to see their value to God and to understand that God created them on purpose for a purpose.

Matters to Others Relationships are a key part of life. Show us your friends and we will show you your future. We want to help students learn how to build healthy relationships with others that will not only positively impact their lives now but will help them build positive relationships for the rest of their lives.

Matters to Our Community Our students are our future. We want our students to know that they are a valuable part of our community. We want to resource and enable our students to contribute their knowledge and skills now, not just when they are older.

The Details

We are open Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays after school until 6pm.

Students can come after school to hang out with friends, relax, grab some food (for a nominal charge), and even study in a fun, safe, and supervised environment. There will be gaming systems, art supplies, sports equipment, cooking classes, large group activities, and opportunities to uncover their leadership skills.

Students can also utilize BSC's Study Spot, a homework help and tutoring room staffed with knowledgeable adults. This quiet space is equipped with all of the materials necessary to support any student with their homework endeavors.

We are located inside Brooklife Church. Students and parents should enter through the door labeled "The Landing" on the right back of the building.

How We Show Students They Matter

Our mission is demonstrated by building each other up, bonding through activities, and becoming a culture of influencers who promote acceptance, kindness, and finding joy in life. We are working to build programs that equip students with life skills and support them in their daily lives. We believe in giving students the opportunities and resources to share their talents and passions with others as a means of building self-confidence, character, and peer-to-peer relationships.

Buses will be available to transport middle and high school students from school to BSC. Parents must alert Dousman Transport to add students to the bus route: 262.363.7176 ext.70222 or kkyne@dtcbus.com.

Bus 16 (6th angled buswill go to the Student Center from MHS. Middle schoolers will ride their own bus to the high school and transfer to Bus 16.  If they do not have an assigned bus, they can take MH11 to the high school.

Parents will need to pre-register their student(s) HERE before attending the first time. BSC staff will not monitor their coming and going, but students must check in and out, and when they do, the system will alert parent(s). Parents are responsible for their students being picked up by 6:00 pm.

Once a student is registered on Procare, they are ready to go! Students will be asked to check in and out of the Student Center as they come and go. While at BSC, students will have access to all of the activities and spaces BSC offers at no cost. For a nominal fee, students can purchase snacks and drinks at the BSC Cafe!

All staff and volunteers at the Student Center will be vetted, background checked, and receive training. Each day, the Student Center will be staffed by at least four staff/volunteers.

In an effort to ensure all students, staff and volunteers are safe, we ask that parents and students read and understand the BSC Policies and Procedures and agree to follow them.

BSC is staffed by trained and vetted volunteers. If you have any questions, please contact Lindsey.
