Brooklife is excited to host a Serve Day for Bridge Builders, a nonprofit founded by Kurt Owens from Uflourish Church and whose mission is to inspire inner-city innovation that will holistically transform neighborhoods one block at a time. Their work is committed to local leadership, diverse partnerships, rooted in the church, and driven by a desire to see neighborhoods transformed for the common good.

As part of their Block Transformation Initiative, construction projects serve as a platform that connects those with heart and capacity to transform lives with residents who lack social and economic capital in our target area. Projects range from community gardens, fencing, porches, railings, painting, staining, and other projects that can be completed in a day. There is something for everyone!

Kids are welcome but must be suprvised by parents.
Meet at Bridge Builders Hub House at 8:15am sharp. Let us know if you would like to carpool. We will need drivers. Lunch will be provided. All skill levels welcome, including children of all ages.
